I understand that the options available with CCPulse+ Actions and Thresholds are limited so, before wandering down the road to oblivion yet again, I thought I would ask;
Has anyone attempted to create a Threshold based on Real-Time and an associated Action which exports/appends a View to an external HTML/Excel File?
An example would be;
Based on a Threshold; at 12:00 (and thereafter every 15 minutes), an Action is invoked to create an HTML export of a specified View in CCPulse+, which is either a) saved to a external File Location as an HTML File or b) appended to an external, exisiting HTML/Excel File.
I think the way I want to use Thresholds/Actions are self-evident within the example but I wondered if anyone has attempted it and how it might be applied?
Thanks!
Tony
PS: There are reasons why I would not want to create aggregated historical reports via CCA/ICON etc. so please don't suggest those as the standard response! ;)

Tony,
Not sure if it is possible to write an Action to do a whole view export, however you can export individual values to files or a DB. These can then be built into a webpage that can be delivered to users desktops.
We are doing a soft wallboard project where CCPulse values are exported to a DB then we have created an application that builds the exported data and then passes it onto the agents soft wallboard.
A very crude version of what you would want, could be an application that takes screen shots of CCPulse at intervals (defined by you) then delivers them to a webserver, which users can link to. Not the nicest thing in the world, but a quick solution!!

Thanks Mark - I'd rather have them use Historical Reporting but for one reason and another it will not fit their needs.
I suspect I will be looking at this in more detail in the coming weeks, so I'll update this thread as and when things crop up.
