Title: MOH on Avaya when transferring multisite
Post by: JTL on July 12, 2007, 10:40:54 AM
We have a network & premise solution here, and until recently, all transfers between sites have been made using the network, so any announcements and music have just 'worked'.

However, a big problem with this is that we've been losing the attached data, as there seems to be no way to keep it when the call has to pass through 3 T Servers (Premise->network->Premise) in order to reach its new target.

I've setup a pilot to enable Premise->Premise (warm) transfers by linking the premises up to the URS and allowing the targeting to be done locally. The calls are then routed via our network and arrive correctly.

HOWEVER - when Agent A initiates the transfer, and whilst they are waiting for Agent B to answer, they just hear ringing-out. No MOH.

We have music cards in the Avayas, but I don't know how to incorporate it into a site->site transfer.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Cheers!

Hi,

What do you have in vector? Can you write it?
When you do local call you hear MOH?

Regards,
Mariusz

Usually, MOH is played on the originating PBX UNTIL you the transfer is completed.

Are you using external routing points?
