Title: Siebel Softphone Messaging

Have a G3 switch and Siebel on desktop and using the Siebel softphone. When we do a monitoring of a call the message bar on the agent desktop says Party Added XXXX, The XXXX is the supervisor that is doing the monitoring. Want to stop that message from being displayed. Was told by Siebel to have Genesys or the switch stop sending the message so it will not display. I can not find a way to stop the messaging from Genesys or the G3. Any Help?

I looked through the manual for G3 but could not find anything.
I would think you would be able to define the messages delivered to softphone in softphone setup file. Why not filter there?

That's where is started and is in as an "Enhancement Request" with Siebel. Till our people or Siebel came up with a fix the solutions was to simply have the middleware stop sending the message.

Well, I do not think that you can stop TServer from sending this message, and the only way would be catching it at the SoftPhone level or at the driver level.

By the way, what version of SoftPhone are you using?

Were using Siebel Call Center 99.6.1.
