Title: Email Alert/STG file limitations?
Post by: pdavid on July 23, 2007, 10:58:20 PM
Ok here's the issue I'm facing..

Currently I had email alerts setup for queue level real-time reporting, for calls in queue and max time waiting, as well as advisor level email alerts for break/lunch times. The queue level alerts are setup for about 35 queues (yes I know we have alot of queues, I'm in the works to consolidate them as much as possible), and for the advisor level data I have about 700+ advisors. About a week ago my alerts were working, but then I recall adding another group of advisors (60) to the email alerts, and then the email function went haywire.

The queue email alerts stopped, the advisor email alerts stopped for all but 3 teams.

The wierd thing is I also have these set to color 'yellow', which this works, but the email function of the others does not.

Prevously I had it sending to disto lists, and even changed that to put actual individual email address, but nothing..

I called and opened an SR with Genesys, this will probably take a while so I thought I'd ask this to see if anyone has experienced the same issue.

Could it be that perhaps there's a size limit on the STG files before it begins to fail?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you test your rule does it work?
If it works for one the others should do too, maybe a problem with the mail client?
No modications to the code?

The rule works because in addition to the email, I have it so it will also set 'yellow' and it does. I did not make any changes to the vb code, nor the email client.
