Title: Genesys 7.2 Progressive Outbound question
Post by: Vincent on August 24, 2007, 07:35:52 AM
I've had the course for Outbound and for version 7.2 it states in the training manual "Avoid using virtual agent groups for predictive/progressive campaigns". Why is this? I've been testing with VAG with progressive mode and i see some things happen which are strange (the whole call list is called at the same time, calls get routed to the agent as an inbound call instead of outbound calls). Are these things because of 7.2, what are you experiences?

Our standard outbound is OCS 7.2 and SIP T-Server 7.2 and we also were wondering about this. I think that OCS 7.2 does not fully support VAGs and, perhaps, this is similar to how one needed to use Expand[] command in pre-7.1 URS when using VAGs to get the rights stats.

It is frustrating at times because VAGs are much easier to maintain and it is used with through out our inbound operations. Did you check if 7.5 also has a similar limitation?

There's a fix which seems to cover it - 7.2.002.10 Have you tried it?

Hello, could you please send me the help file for OCM ( it's "outbound contact 7.2 deployment guide")?

Regards.
