Title: Informix Integration

All,

I a bit of a bind here.  I'm trying to integrate 7.2 dbserver with an Infromix 7.4 database via and ODBC driver. Client Software  was successfully loaded:

ifx_version returns the following

IBM/Informix-Client SDK Version 2.90.FC4R1
IBM/Informix ODBC LIBRARY Version 2.90.0000.FC4R1

I have found the appropriated configuration files which are:
sqlhosts
odbcinst.ini
odbc.ini

My question is, from this client SDK, I'm not able to find the "dbclient_informix" that the dbserver users guide calls for.  Does this have to be coded and complied?  Or might i have the wrong version of client sdk/driver?

Correction!!! Integration with Infomrix 9.2 not 7.4  :P

When you install the DBServer you will find on the install path the dbclient_informix.exe file.

Install the Informix dbserver or Genesys dbserver?

Genesys DBServer...Never heard of a Informix DBServer. Is that an Informix product? Anyway, nothing  to do with Genesys
