Title: Genesys on Cisco Call Manager
Post by: sorret on December 20, 2007, 07:41:43 AM
Just looking for comments, histories and experiences deploying Genesys on a Cisco Callmanager cluster.

I think Genesys is a better option than Cisco IPCC. Let's start the discussion.

we have a customer that uses Cisco Callmanager with Genesys. It works with Genesys within an Inbound Routing Solution without any huge problems. So it is ok to use it, it is not bad or better than other supported switches. :)

Hum...Don't know we changed an CCM for an Alcatel because there were many issues with it and an Alcatel or Avaya offers more services on it.
Check the TServer for CCM and see what you can do or not.
Unfaced, what do you mean by "without any huge problems."? Can you be more specific?

I did a CCM integration with single site routing and had no probs last year until GVP had to be added but after a long fight even that worked fantastically.

We had no problems with 3 site multirouting and HA  with CCM (4)  and Genesys (7.2). The only concern in this case was the actual IP network stability and call quality.

One thing to note, you lose the ACD style of reports by going with CCM.

It is a good combination though, works well when its all up and running :]
