Title: Number of dbclient instances
Post by: cavagnaro on January 18, 2008, 04:51:24 PM
Hi guys,
A question, I have noted on an OCS server that it has a lot of dbclient_msql instances, around 26 of them, is this normal?
Also, OCS has a memory consumption of 1,044,024K, aroung 1GB... ??? Is this a normal behaviour, honestly I never sit and saw the OCS components in high detail but now I'm very curious. The amount of agents for Outbound is around 35 and they dial in predictive and progressive.
At the moment I saw this only one campaign was loaded and running on progressive but no agent logged in.

Another more, what can explain a huge number of records on Retrieve status? When I load the campaign the theory of weights on the calling lists apply, however as the day moves on more and more records keep on Retrieved status...

Thanks for any input you may have

Hi,

Every calling list uses its own dbclient process. There are a lot of information about this and the windows limit of 255 windows processes at the same time on the support site.

I found a reference on DBServer guide :) Thanks will check it, however I only have 10 calling lists, no match for the number of dbclients running.
Will try to check them
Thanks again
