Title: stateIncompatibility : invalidObjectState!!
Post by: jjavierv on January 25, 2008, 12:50:42 AM
:o
Need help!  When my softphone attends a call, everything works fine, it handles very well user states through the ActiveX components, I even hang up the call when I save the CRM application... but... if the customer hungs up I get an "stateIncompatibility : invalidObjectState" error.

After that, my softphone loses connection with my hardphone, and the agent has to log out, then log in, and then change his/her status to Ready, so he/she can continue working.

Don't know what to do!  :'(

Can you please post your TServer logs with this specific error?
Also what kind of set and PBX do you have?

Hello,
this issue can also be in option on T-Server in TServer section - agent-substitute. Is it sure only my idea, but for more info I would need to see Log of T-Server and additional info, wchich written cavagnaro.

Is that your custom softphone application?
If so, check the eventhandling when the call is released from the other end of the call. Might have missed some event handling which is leaving the hardphone out of sync with softphone.

Actually, the error I get is the following one: "Genesys 1161:CSTA error: stateIncompatibility : invalidObjectState".

This happens when the party hangs up, and not only with my software, it happens also with Genesys Softphone that comes with the ActiveX Toolkit.

This is Genesys 7.2, working with a Siemens HiPath 4000.  TServer version is 7.5
