We have a fax email address .. evertime we get a fax from our fax@company.com we want MCR to put these email in a seperate work bins .. That ok . but as all faxes coming from same email address we would like to create new contact for each fax received e.g with the timestamp or some unique identifier

thank  you.

Hi,

I would say it's possible using IRD object "Identify Contact" but never used it.

Could you please describe more in detail why you need to create a new contact for each incoming fax?

One solution, maybe not the best, I have seen working was to use a custom Customer's DB.

Incoming faxes (emails) should carry the ANI and through this a sorting should be possibile.

IE: If incoming fax is from Milan then it starts with 02_something if from Rome it starts with 06_something and so forth.

in Pre-Routing you query the DB for known ANI's prefix and will route accordingly.
