Title: unable to login in GAD
Post by: Glenn on March 04, 2008, 04:59:52 PM
Hi all,

I have a problem and I hope someone can help.  In our lab environment, we have two Genesys environments.
One is a 7.5 environment with a SIP and an Avaya telephony server.

The other is a mixed 7.0 and 7.2 environment with only an Avaya telephony server.

Both systems have a GAD server (v7.5 for the first and 7.2 for the second).  In the first environment, I can login without any problems into GAD (both with SIP and Avaya agents)
On the second system, I cannot login any user.  The place exists and has a shortcut to the extension.  The person is created, has a skill and an agent login.  This agent login is created both in Genesys and on the Avaya switch.

When I try to login the agent, I get the following error: Login aborted: incorrect Agent Login

Does anybody has an idea what I forgot?

Have you configured license section? What does TServer says with this login attempt? Is the TServer associated to GAD?

I would check the person/place/DN configuration for this agent.

Glenn,

GDesktop complains about impossibility to update agent's configuration. Please check that GDesktop is running in security context of a person that has sufficient permissions (CME - GDesktop's application - Security tab - Log On As).

Have you configured the Queue that the agent is in in CME? If you have forgotten the switch will not tell you the agent log in request has resulted in sucess.

License is configured, otherwise you get an "unable to connect to server" error.  (I wonder how I know this  >:D )

GDesktop is running with: "Log on as: default", so security should not be an issue...

Could you explain?  I have an ACD Queue in CME, but I don't know what you mean...

well, an update on my problem.  I was able to login, but instead of pressing submit, I need to press next and fill in the agent login again.  Seems like he doesn't know which agent login he needs to use...
