Title: Genesys SIP Server registering to ITSP
Post by: jepd on March 11, 2008, 02:17:03 AM
Hi All

We are having a look at the Genesys SIP Server and want to register a trunk from an ITSP, but the documentation does seem to be a bit scant.

We've set up a trunk but cannot see any attemps by SIP Server to try and register the SIP trunk with the ITSP.

Anyone done this before? If so, please can you let me know what we need to define?

TIA

just create a trunk indicating which number will be redirected to that server.
Try this:

Instead of thinking on a PBX try your ITSP IP address and data from them.
So on the trunk if you indicate that all numbers startint with 5 will go there, you will need to dial 5+real remote number

I am sure that I will regret this, but what IS ITSP?

Tried it as specified but still no go. I'll get some logs out and post later.

I'd also expect to be able to define suppoted codecs somewhere...
