Title: Genesys Active X 7.2 and T-Server 7.6 for Avaya
Post by: victor on March 28, 2008, 12:24:54 PM
Hi,

I was wondering if someone could share with me the following info:

1. has anyone used Genesys T-Server 7.6 with Avaya yet?
2. would Genesys Active X 7.2 even work with 7.6 T-Server? Has anyone actually been using it?
3. any nasty surprises with 7.6 Framework that I should be aware of?

One of our clients wants to upgrade to Genesys T-Server 7.6 while still using Genesys Active X 7.2-based softphone and I am not that excited about this prospect. Not to mention that we have a very limited time to get it right.

So, any info would be really appreciated!
Thank you!
Vic

Hi Vic,
Didn't know there was a ActiveX 7.2, I have 7.1.
As for the TServer 7.6 I don't have any customer with it, but I can try at my lab and let you know the results of my tests, will try with an Alcatel OXE, but TServer common part will be the same.

I currently use Genesys Active X 7.2 with T-Server 7.5 for Siemens and T-Server 7.6 Cisco.  Everything works for my Inbound and Outbound needs.  I did notice that I am unable to request Outbound Campaign Status from OCS 7.5.

The Campaign Status request is not a requirement for my business partner so I have not had the chance to explorer and understand why the code works with OCS 7.0 but not OCS 7.5.

Hope this helps.
