Title: How to restrict agents to view CCPulse (only supervisors can view)

Hi All,

We have 500 agents and 50 supervisors in new CME environment.
We want to restrict agents to view CCPulse  (only supervisors can view).
Currently in CME (Access Groups) we have folders “Administrators” and “Agents”.
We are planning to  create a new group”Supervisors” with 50 members.
What is the simple way to allow them to view CCPulse?
Is this a correct approach?

There are different ways to achieve this;

1. Go to CME and add the CCPulse Application to the Person's profile but only include the Supervisors, at:

Configuration>Resources>Persons>*[i]SupervisorName[/i]*>Ranks>Application Type = Call Centre Pulse

2. Configure the CCPulse Application in CME to read the Storage Files from a location only accessible to the Supervisors, at:

Configuration>Environment>Applications>*[i]CCPulse[/i]*>Options>Storage

3. Add the Supervisors to an Access Groups for CCPulse and amend the Application Security Settings, so that only that Access List can run the Application, at:

Configuration>Resources>Access Groups>*[i]CCPulse_Users[/i]*
and
Configuration>Environment>Applications>*[i]CCPulse[/i]*>Security>Permissions

4. Remove the CCPulse Application Icon from the Users Desktops through their login profile and leave them on the Supervisors Desktops only.

- There are other ways but I think you will find one of the methods above will suit your purpose...?
