Is anyone experience with CS1000 IP and Genesys SIP?
In the Genesys Media Interface Reference Manual, Genesys SIP server supports CS1000.
Is this mean Genesys SIP server talk to CS1000 directly via SIP?
Thanks in advance.

I would ask better if your CS1000 supports and have SIP enabled.

I'm working on a project with a CS2K switch and it has it's own T-Server. Have you checked about whether your CS1K has a T-Server?

So far what I'm seeing is that CS1000MG (upgrade from CS1000) has its own media gateways and signaling server etc... to support SIP (VoIP). What I'm not able to find is that how does it configure with Genesys environment.
And if someone has experience with it, I'm thankfull to hear from you.
Thanks.

Is anyone out there with CS1k and Genesys SIP server?
CS1k would be IP enabled with signal server or some sort.
Thanks.

Hi. The SIP used by Nortel needs to be used by Proxy server to match the sip required by the T-Server - which makes it an integration peice.
The CS1K has 2 types of signalling server. The Linux COTS server supports SIP Proxy.
You will need to understand the SIP set-up for the calls in each case.
Good luck
We are using Lineside E1 cards for that integration and synching it is proving a nightmare
