Title: SIP and whispering

Hi, does anyone know how to get whispering functionality on Genesys SIP T-Server platform? I think it can be done with SM, but I have trouble finding info other than SM manual.

Hi Victor,

From what I understand, you just have to configure your MCU "Voice over ip Service" DN with Service Type = mcu
The easiest way is to do it from the wizard,
Select Stream Manager, do a right click and choose configure.
In Client tab you can add DN for whatever service you wish
In Conferencing tab you can select codecs for conferencing and voice monitoring service.

Then use you Supervisor Desktop,
Build a template allowing you to access specific agent groups (you can not access monitoring items from default template listing all agents).
Within selected agent group, select agent to monitor.
In action textbox you should have access to monitoring functionalities
You can also logout an agent

But, I have also an issue, my monitoring items remain deactivated I do not know why. I checked that my MCU dn is working as I can do conferences.

So if you follow the same process as me, I am interested in your results.

Documentation of SIP Server release 7.6 has been updated and it contains now a section related to whispering.
