Title: ii digits
Post by: Jim on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Trying to get to the ii digits for possible call routing in Genesys. Have a G3 switch and I know the digits are coming in but can't find a way to get them to Genesys.

Jim not sure what 'ii digits' are, talked with a Avaya ( Lucent ) person and he's not sure either, is there another acronym from it? UUI? But anyway, if you can see it as an attribute in the 'EventQueued' when a call is offered ( tserver log ) then you should be able grab them.

Hope this helps

These are Information Indicator digits that come in with the ANI and tell you where the call originated from. Also called ANI II since they are 2 digits. These can tell you if a call is coming from a prison, cell phone, pay phone, etc. Check out http://www.nanpa.com/number_resource_info/ani_ii_assignments.html for more info.

ii digits is Avaya's term and it's in their documentation, you can write vectors to goto a step if 'ii digits' equal a certain value. I have looked through the T Server logs and Genesys documentation and can't find anything on ii digits. Checking with Genesys tech support will let you know what they have to say.

I believe that ii digits are a special option that you can request from your phone carrier. I know we got them and now they want to start using them for call routing.
