Title: Where to setup < DN@ Hipath IPadress> in Genesys for direct transfer
Post by: kapusta1152 on September 10, 2008, 10:48:42 PM

Hi All,

Please let me know where to setup <DN @ Hipath IPaddress> in Genesys /SIP server for direct transfer to the switch (e.g. Siemens HiPath 8000) from Genesys.

P.S. There is no plan to use routing strategy.
We are using Genesys to get the call into the IVR.

Thanks,

There are a number of ways you can acheive this.

The easiest of which is to set up a Trunk DN for the HiPath ip-address.

In the Annex tab of the new DN is where you set the IP Address.  In order to specify only certain calls to use this trunk you will need to set another option in the Annex tab.

Section: TServer

option: contact
value: ipaddress and port

option: prefix
value: first digit/s of the DN/s which will use this trunk.

There are many other options that can be set here.  The SIP Server documentation has all the details on the rest of the options.
