hi guys,
i have a strange problem on CME, I'm using version 7.6, and when creating a new campaign I can't see the Agent Group option, however if I use CME 7.1 I do.
My Genesys DB was created with 7.0 sql scripts but did an upgrade of components, however never found a Genesys DB sql update, only one for OCS which I ran.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Somebody has migration guide to 7.6? I believe I might miss something...I only can find the last that says 7 but is actually for 8 (??) and 7.6 is now missing.

Config Manager 7.5, and newer, doesn't have the agent group as part of the campaign properties.
The campaigns become a container for a new object, "Campaign Group", which holds all of the same information as the Agent Group tab.
You need to run the Configuration Conversion Wizard to update the database, I don't think you can do it using the sql scripts. You may also need to update from 7.0 to 7.2, to 7.5 and then to 7.6 (don't think you can do it all in one hit.
If you're not running a 7.6 server, then you shouldn't be running 7.6 CME, tsk tsk. :-p

According to OCS 7.6 deployment guide:
A Campaign Group is the main configuration object in Outbound Contact. It
can be found within the Campaign object in Configuration Manager. A
Campaign Group is defined as a Campaign (a set of calling lists) that is
assigned to work resources such as an Agent Group or a Place Group.
So no new objects...
Now the idea of going for each version doesn't seem convencing as if it was the case for R8 i'd have to go for each previous version..no way and documentation doesn't point for anything like that.
Will run the conversion wizard.
Thanks

Yay! it worked! Thanks, now to clarify the Campaign Groups tab has been converted to a Campaign Group sub-folder under each Campaign.
Thanks!
