Title: October Launch of Business Forum
Post by: victor on September 26, 2008, 01:57:54 AM
Hi, everybody,

After having a discussion with many of you (including Pavel who is launching a Genesys newspaper(wow!) later this year. I am planning on launching a business part of the forum, allowing people to promote their products, ask for help and offer services.

From structure perspective, I am thinking about one general forum for discussion, one sub-board for product and service offering, and one sub-board for recruitment.

Is there something else you would like to add to it?

Best regards,
Vic

Vic,

Could I suggest an area where discussions relating to business logic, deployment methods and business structure are catered for?  Basically to allow business users to discuss a solution/product deployment in relation to current or future business structure and/or business models...

An example for this could be how a bolt-on product might be utilized, in as business context - so as not to duplicate business effort or to allow optimizations to take place, automatically - and what the implementation of that solution might mitigate (staffing levels, re-org, service support, etc.)

Hi Vic,

This is good news. As for mentioning the 'newspaper', well a group of us are putting together a FREE Genesys magazine that will be published before the end of the year. I will be creating a new thread on here shortly with some details.

Hey,

this is great news - the more people are invovled in it, the better it will be! As long as it helps everyone out, I will be more than happy to promote it here as well.

Best regards,
Vic
