You can find that info on the Avaya TServer guide and releases notes.
-
Man Avaya have an AES and not a T-Server, T-Server is for Genesys.
-
??? If you go to TServer guide you will see that you need to configure Avaya AES for Tserver to connect to. You will need to configure ASAI link too.
TServer is a CTI client of Avaya as well as for any other PBX.

::)
Thanks a lot man,
Where i can get a TServer guide ? I tried to check on Avaya support site i can't find it. :-[
-
??? You answered yourself on previous post, it is Genesys not Avaya.
Now I don't think so because starting from TServer 7.2 supports AES 3.1 to up

T-Server now supports release 4.0 of the Avaya Communication Manager using MAPD and AES interfaces.

I saw that Genesys T-Server 6.5 use ASAI version 3, this version can also be used by AES 3 or 4.x. :o
-
Probably the best Genesys ref. guide to look at for this type of information is the "Genesys Supported Media Interfaces Reference Manual".
What you will most likely find is that the 6.5 t-server may not have been tested with that revision of the AES.
Is it for compatibility, licensing, or some other reason that you need to use a 6.5 t-server...? Can you not just use a newer release of t-server?
-
Licensing, so when we tried to upgrade a T-Server from 6.5 to 7.6 we need a new license = $.
-
? No you don't, however you need to have a valid contract with them.
-
Well, yes you would need to upgrade your license file, so therefore $$$. The license for a 6.x t-server would not work for a 7.x t-server. They only work through the "major" releases using FlexLM at least (i.e. as long as you have a 7.0 license, it's generally good for 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.5, 7.6).
However, as far as the original question. You'll probably find that it works just fine; it's just never been certified.
-
Thanks man, i will make a test for that in our office.
-
Good news, it's work fine, i'm waiting for issues ???
