Title: Change DB from where CCPulse pulls data for Historical Reports
Post by: natlonehat on November 02, 2008, 11:37:28 PM
Hi All,

we use a hosted solution for our contact center, and would like to change the data source from where CCPulse actually pulls the stats to create the report.

Idea is to take data dumps from our host every 12 hours and write to mirrored db.

How to pull this off?

Create a new DAP pointing to the mirrored DataMart db.
Add that DAP to CCP connection instead of the current DataMart DAP.

Hello :)

Or you can change the current DAP (which you have in "Connections" tab of CCPulse app). Define there credentials for new data source(mirrored db), and that's all.

Thanks folks,

I was actually thinking along those lines. However, Would it work if i define two database access points in CCP and then select the one i need on startup?

Cheers!

Hi,

No, it won't work. But you can have more CCPulse apps in CME where one will have DAP to master DB and other DAP to mirrored DB. Then by log in into CCPuulse you will chose the right one.
