Title: CTI/ IVR background

Hi All
When I see job posts I see lot of people looking for Genesys CTI experience. I am not quite sure what is their expectation. In general what should one know to claim they are CTI developer/experienced.  Also I request to point me some Genesys manuals to get more info on this. I appreciate your help.
