When "backup configuration server" is active , and you can see "PRIMARY" ,the mode of "backup configuration server".
Can you swtich over from "backup configration server" to "primary configration server" ?
-
just two stuff:
1) I can't monitor the application installed because the SCI can't conect to SCS.
2) In answer a your question, no when the the conserv backup are in state primary I need to shut down this service to can start up the censerv primary as primary
You have any idea what could be happen?
Thanks

Sorry I do not understand your situation.
Can you access "backup configration server" of primary state by CME ?
if you can not access ,configration server's confg file have some problem.

Yes i can acces to configuration server backup, but i dont understand why when i try to acces to SCI this allways try to acces to SCS_Backup and not to primary.
I try to change the dbserver name in dbserver.cfg of backup but when i try to startup the service show me a error and don't start.

Hi Rortiz,
Where is your backup SCS (Solution control server) running and where primary? Are you sure that your primary SCS server is running whatsoever? If yes, are you sure that your primary SCS has no issue to open listening port 5075 because some other application might use it? You can test it with telnet. Type in to command line on the same host where the SCS should be running following 'telnet localhost 5075'. If telnet establish connection sucesfully, then it would mean some application is listenning on the port 5075. The question is which application is using it when SCS is not working correctly. But if telnet will have problems to establish connection, then your SCS is probably not running at all. Anyway try to investigate SCS logfiles for visible errors. Or rather post one here and we will check it for you.
Cheers,
