new implementation using Nortel 5.5 and Gen 7.6 Tserv
trying to login using supportphone gives us
Error Set is Main Busy--logs show Error 200c. Genesys website says chk pbx.
Everything looks fine...only thing we can't do is login. If phone is logged into manually, we can control from supportphone, set ready, not ready and log out..can't login. anybody see this before ?
thanks

I don't know about Nortel 5.5, but on the Nortel CS2k the login key has 2 positions.
One has the icon flashing and one doesn't, you can only login via a softphone in one state and not the other, without a phone in front of me I can't remember which is which. But if it's in one state and wont login, press the login button on the phone to change the state and try again.

thanks for the reply,,could you elaborate a bit more on this ?

You have position and extension set up in CME, right?
And Place?

yes, thank you. we're able to see and execute all events from softphone except login. once set is logged in via hardphone, we are able to set ready, not ready, and logout
just can't login

can you post TServer logs when agent tries to login?

We use Nortel IP2002 phones but I've seen the same thing on our older Nortel phones too.
Between the Make Busy button & the words "Make Busy" on the display there is a small icon. To login manually via the phone, you press the button to make the icon come on constantly, then you type in your ACD login.
If you want to login via a softphone I think this icon has to be flashing, but as I said above try it in both modes, flashing and not. On the CS2k, one works and the other gives an error, something like "invalid set state"

seems to be working now..problem isolated to one loop in pbx.
