Title: Upgrade of Config Server from 7.2 to 7.6

Hi all,
Just wondering for the listed confserv versions, if its a straight upgrade or is there any cfg DB work required?

You will need to run the Config Conversion Wizard to upgrade your database.

From my experience. Between version 7.2 & 7.6 many different changed. I would suggest upgrade database first. And backup your strategy , DB Config , etc. Before your upgrade anyting.

No no, first is cfgserver, then DB (copy db, run wizard as told) then reconfigure to point to this new db, and then upgrade the rest of components. For some components like Multimedia you need to run also some SQL scripts in their own DBs.

Don't forget the DB-Server. Do this before the Config Server.
