Title: SIP Server with GVP in front, can I use GVP for queue messaging?
Post by: tpl on November 27, 2008, 11:39:15 AM
Hi,

We have a lab setup with SIP server and GVP IPCS in front (no resource manager installed).

I have a strategy on a routepoint on SIP server. In the target block I want to use GVP for busy treatment but keep the call under control of URS.

According to the genesys documentation and genesys studio examples, this should be possible.

If there is no agent available, the call WILL arrive on the GVP to play the busy treatment. However, in the genesys studio examples it is stated that you have to put a treatment-end block to instruct URS to take back the call.

This is however not working. The busy treatment is played and then I get a disconnect.

Is there anyone that can explain me how to use GVP for busy treatments and how to give back control to URS after the treatment?

If logs, strategies or XML apps are needed, give me a shout

many thanks.
