Title: Dialogic DM3 Outbound
Post by: Gui75 on December 01, 2008, 07:43:49 PM
Hi,

I am currently trying to understand what is to configure in CME related to DM3 dialogic cards .
I work in transfer mode.

I understand that I have to configure virtual boards and voice virtual boards under the regular folder.

In the chapter "Configuring Dialogic Boards", I see a table describing virtual boards, virtual devices, virtual voice boards and virtual voice device for each type of board.

But for DMV boards, it just says that there are 60 channels (DM/V600-2E1)
So how does it work?

Yeah, If you have 2 E1 for (DM/V600-2E1). You have to configued 2 Group Folder in one regular folder. such as

regular

I would recommend using the config wizard to create this folder structure.  It's much quicker than trying to create the folders and DN's manually.

It is very, very, complicated to try and troubleshoot errors if you have accidentally got the DN's in the wrong folders.

Thank you Dionysis, I will then use the wizard.
Do you know if this structure can be changed or if it is constrained by Dialogic card internal arquitecture.
For example can I choose to configure voice virtual boards with only 2 channels instead of 4?

Other question : am I limited in the number of voice virtual boards?
Can I add new ones in the recording folder to do recording without having to move those existing under regular folder.
