That's a touchy subject for a lot of companies.
In my own organization we have spent close to $30k developing the best detection parameters for our dialing, so giving the info away is generally a bit of a no no.
Dialogic do provide some basic settings on their website though, they're usually a good place to start. :)
CPD Server is relatively easy to set up, there isn't all that much to change from the default settings really.

There are two sets of configurable options in Dialogic card for CPD.
Most options in the high level set can be configured via Genesys options and the low level parameters are in "Qualification Template".
Dialogic DMV and JCT (Springware) use "Qualification Template" for AMD (Answer Machine Detection) and PVD (Positive Voice Detction). Parameters and usage in "Qualification Template" can be found in
http://www.inventivelabs.com/cti32/HMPQualificationTemplates.pdf
Tuning Dialogic qualification template parameters is a specific task requiring specific tools and skills; not relevant to Genesys directly. It may cost ten thousand pound or more (subject to change) to have a professonal company to find the best combination based on logged outbound call progress voice files.
You may also request support from Dialogic via the cards supplier to get the program to change JCT Springware qualification template options. Dialogic may have some qualification templations for specific countries; please check with your Dialogic card supplier.
Some configurable options by the program are
# QMINSNR QMAXANR MAXPK MAXRING RINGTHRES PVDWIN PVDTHRESH PVDRBLOW PVDRBHIG
<PVD> 50 600 2 5 10000 8 3000 380 510
# MAXANSIZ MAXANS2 MAXANS3 LOHISS HIHISS BHPARM CVTHR1 CVTHR2 MAXCVTH NMAXBROD NMAXERG MAXSIL VOICE_THRES SIL_THRES BANDF_LOW BANDF_HIGH
<PAMD> 159 159 159 22 16 5 80 165 390 2 65 30 25 3000 0 0
You may try to tune these options at your own risk and time.
I tried for a while but manual process was too time-consuming; it was a specialized task not for Genesys Professionals!
