DNIS triggers your IVR application.
Seems like you didn't associate DNIS numbers in your IVR configuration.
I haven't gone to 7.5 yet so don't know the details on how...

hi, in fact

i cannotice that is  a URL IVR issue, let em explain better.

when i configure it in this way http:localhost:9810/....$did$.xml <== gvp can not answer;
but when configured like this http:localhost:9810/....78967.xml  l<== gvp can  answer calls perfectly;

GVP 7.5.003,
-does anybody know if a hot fix exists 4 this problem?
-what happens if i let the configuration like this  http:localhost:9810/....78967.xml , this could generate problems?

Hi,

Because you are in a Behind-the-Switch mode, the URL must be : http://localhost:9810/did_url_mappings/GenericDID.xml.

For more explanation, go to page 443 of the document "Genesys Voice Platform 7.5 Deployment Guide".

Hope it helps.

ok it works,  but the problem now is that ANi is not coorect. With 79197.xml it works...

The GenericDID.xml works together with teh same values for $did$.xml or i shoul look other values for CFA or Popgateway url´s .......

In CFA setup
Use CTI Client For ANI & DN set to 1?

Try regenerating the IVR profile..This might solve the problem if $did$ is rejected....

yes CTIGen. cti client is set to 1; chandra  i regenerated the ivr profile with no positive results.

GVP with CTI integration is answering, the problem is the GEnereicDID.xml...when i set this value gvp stops showing the right ANI.

This issue is very particular, if i replace GenericDid.xml with 76544.xml (CDN) Gvp answers and shows teh correct ani!!!, but is not posible to set gvp in this way.

Popgateway - full log level does not show any error .....

(By the way TechSupp is getting worst every day , i am waiting for help by 2 days)

Then your ANI/DNIS comes from Tserver, is your Tserver showing the wrong value?

yes CTIGen, gvp get the ani from iverserver, but in logs i can notice tserver is passing the wrong ani.

10:17:44.038 Trc 04541 Message EventRinging received from 65200 ( 'TServer_G3_72')
@10:17:44.0380 [0] message EventRinging
    AttributeDNIS    '6154328'  <==  DID
    AttributeANI    '16290000'  <=== this is the wrong ani showed when  GenericDID.Xml is set.

Based in your experience what should i revise to debud thsi issue.

Hi,

Information provided by TServer in the events come from Avaya switch. Ask you Avaya admin to check that ANI isn't changed during routing of the call. Sometimes it's could be a bit tricky to configure the switch properly...

hi rene i validate with the switch adminsitrator that ani is arriving ok.
78697 = CDN
i really dont understand what is happening.... in my understanding this string http:l.....xml. is relationed only with the dnis not with teh ani.

But when when i force teh string this way (http:...78967.xml) ani appears ok.
with GEnericDID.xml ani is showed an incorrect value.

clues? ideas? what i can look 4?

Hi,

Could you please collect logs of TServer, IVR TServer and VCS (PopGateway1) logs and post these here. I will look at it then.

R.

PS. All logs have to be debug level.

cavagnaro,
You probably saw my somewhat nasty response to a similar poster on the newly revived (or is it?) Genesys tech site where you contributed to the thread.  It sure does make me angry when people come to sites like this asking for help, then just go away without posting what they did to resolve the problem.  If there was a good way to do it, I'd love to ban people that do this.

Hopefully they will come back and post what the resolution steps were.

Yes he will but because we ask for it...otherwise they will be returning only to ask more and act later like smart guys...anyway let the show continue

Hi rene of course!!! , for all people here i am sorry for the delay .....

i deprovisioned and tehn provishioned did again on ivrProfile,
i deprovisionet teh CDN (but provision teh cdn was my mistake),
then i regenarate it and  the rigth any appers on vcs interfase.

In adittion i can say that $did$.xml never produce a success transaction, i am using the genericDID.xml in order to gvp answers phone calls.

If any member of thsi forum have a similar problem please feel free 2 send me a mail, if i can i will help .... remember i am just a newbie.

thanks a lot  4 all ur help.
