Hi guys,
I have a requirement for a customer, he wants to send SMS when some urgent VIP calls are in queue and not answered. Idea will be something like a CCPulse to invoque a DLL (Threshold) and then the DLL will connect to a server and order to send a SMS. I have the concept and was easy, but now our GSM providers had the great idea to remove the sms mail facility, so i can't use 12345@company.com to send a SMS as used to.
So now, I need something to do the job. I think that as I can do the job manually from my PC with my Sony Ericsson or Nokia cells there must be some API around to do the job, or maybe a gsm box with some already API built. Have searched and couldn't find something easy to use. Some people asks to build my own hardware and so some ASM software. I really don't have that long to do it. I need something to buy and make it work in 2 weeks as much. Do you know some hardware solution available and tested?
Thanks!

Hi Cav,
I would say that easier would be using some commercial gateway that supports sending SMS messages. I found that one - http://www.aspsms.com/ - and they claim to support operators in Peru as well. There are several ways how to communicate with that service incl. ActiveX control or web service. Of course, the question is price and SLA.
To the end, I have no experience with that service just found it using google...

This seems nice René! Thanks a lot! $45 to test the tool and save time is worthy :D
Thanks again
