Title: Update Brio 6.6 to Hyperion 8.3

We need to update our Brio 6.6 reporting system to Hyperion 8.3/8.5, and we have so many doubts about how to do it. First of all, is there any manual file for Hyperion versions?
In the same way we need to know, in order to evaluate the effort, if the old brio .bqy documents works on new hyperion system. Currently we use on demand server and insight viewer for Brio reporting system. Is the Hyperion system built on the same way?, exist on demand server and insight viewer for documents? I now that thay are so many questions at the same time, but each of your answers wiil be very important for me.

Hi Jacobsen,

I know that the .bqy files will work, though heavily customised queries may need looking at. OTB ones should work fine; they have in my experience.

Which DB are you using? Hyperion v8.3 is pretty old so for example it doesn't directly support MS SQL Server 2005 even though Genesys say it does! The Admin GUIs are different too.
