Title: Logger / Recording connectors
Post by: Gremlin on February 20, 2009, 02:35:43 AM
Hi

Anyone have any experience integrating Genesys with NICE loggers? I am told I need to purchase the v7.6 Recording Connector license, but other than that where are these license installed (in Genesys or NICE end) and how is the integration done?

any advise or documents would be good.

thank you in advance!!

Nice or any other will have a Tserver client embedded where is will monitor your agents DNs and pull info from them and use TEvents to start/stop recordings.

thanks.

thus most of the work will be on NICE / recorder's end to integrate with Genesys. In Genesys' end our task is only to turn on the "recorder license" for them. correct ?

No license needed on Genesys side except DN license you currently use.
Nice will look for the Tserver Event. And that connector comes with Nice, you only need tserver ip and port.

Technically no license needed, but for commercial yes. Otherwise you will have issues if you ask some support for it.
