hi all,
anyone can assist me on above subject? here are the details of the prob:
when tried to generate RP_Daily report via Hyperion there's are few date return no records.
however when i look into DMA as well as ETL Assistant, there was a records for that particular date.
action taken:
already restarted ETL Runtime service but still no records returned
additional info:
most of the reporting components running on version 6.5,OS windows 2000,swicth Avaya Communication Manager.

Can you post a screenshot of the report and one of the ETL Assistant - both of which showing (or not showing) the [b]same[/b] data?

...Are all of your reports showing zero values - or just this Route Point on your Report?
...Is it still happening?
...Are any of your other reports showing zero values - perhaps an Agent or Queue Report...?
...Has your datamart database access username or password changed recently? (Check your .oce file!)

kelisagold : Mostly all reports(RP,Queue,Agent,etc.) from 15th Jan 09 until 22nd Jan 09 shwoing 0 values.

I just want to know the possibility why this happen and whether I can recover this records or not?

OK - basically a week of no data for reports but it is still happening (sporadically), now...?
As unusual as this might sound, I think you need for Genesys to take a look at your ODS and MART Logs... :(
On the plus side, it looks as if your ETL is set for 1 year (but it is not set to Purge...?) which means the data [i]should [/i] be available - but [b]only [/b] if it had been written into the MART in the first place...

Yup,basically the report with no data happened only for almost a week and currently all report are working fine. The problem now for me to escalate this to Genesys because there was no contract has been sign yet and of coz no more logs available for that particular date because it already happended in last Jan.

Understood. Without logs or some sort of historical view on data transferral, it's going to be difficult.... Also, if the ODS data is "stuck" and has not transferred to the MART, it is possible to run a script against it to "shift" it but, again, that is something that Genesys would provide you with, based on what they may find from the log data...
I'm going to sound very crass now but without technical intervention, there is no button that you can press to get your data back. What I would suggest is that, if it happens again, either engage Genesys directly as soon as you can so that they can gather the necessary information to assist you or append the details to this thread and perhaps we'll be able to take a look for you...
It's not the answer that you may have been looking for and for that I apologize but there are simply too many variables to be able to ascertain what [b]has [/b] happened, as opposed to what [b]is [/b] happening...

BTW: Your ETL Assistant is showing 1 year of data capture, with [b]no [/b] [i]Purge On [/i] figure - you may want to check those parameters...

1.Can you check the chunks are passing or not in the DMA.
2.Check the ETL runtime is running or not.
3.Check the Genesys objects configured properly or not and check the CFG file required filters and services are there of not
4.Still if your facing this issue please restart your Statservers.sometime issue with the Statserver also.
5.Check the views and tables after that the particular stats refleting or not.[/b]
