Help!
It is not a Genesys question, but it is kind of related to it. I cannot get a certificate issued using the certificate server: it tells me that my certification authority is not started.
In NT Services panel, I can see "Certificate Authority" service, ut it cannot be started... I tried reinstalling NT Option and service packs (6), but still, I cannot get it to work.
Can someone please help me? Thank you very much.

Hi
Maybe you can try to go to Verisign Website to get a trial cert?
You can use the trial cert and used it for genesys ICC.

Or just get a Microsoft Certificate Server installed on your site and then you can run your own certificates :)
Chances are you are already doing it, right? Judging from what you have described in your email, the reason why you have problems starting certificate server is PROBABLY the fact that you have IE 5.x installed on the same machine as the certificate server.
Microsoft had issued a bug warning about NTOP Certificate Server not installing properly when used with MDAC 1.3 which is installed with IE5.x
What you need to do is go to ODBC settings and remove the CertSrv connection from User and recreate it in System Tab... (Make sure that you copy down the params before deleting it :) ) That should fix your problem. If you do NOT have IE5.x installed on that machine, please disregard this message.
