does nortel symposium switch support warm transfers?
-
New with that term...what is a warm transfer? Two step transfers? Single Step transfer? A hot line XXX transfer? ::)
-
its 2 step transfer
also, I am defining on router options "route_consult_call = false"
i gave delay of 2ms and 4ms this did not work out. should i have to make it true? will that effect other working process?

Nortel M1 switch supports 2-step transfer
2ms or 4ms seconds delay in URS strategy are too small for "transfer completion"
please search keyword route_consult_call in this web site
There are several useful information on this specific parameter for URS and Nortel M1 switch.
e.g, http://www.sggu.com/smf/index.php/topic,2034.0.html
URS parameter "give_treatment=true" is also recommended for Nortel M1 switch.
Once enabled, T-server sends ringback treatment request to switch when route request message arrives at RP. Then, Nortel switch will "give" up monitor and control the interaction.
If it is not enable, Nortel switch has a 4 second timer and call interaction control will be routed to default ACD after timer expiration; in other word, third-party call control has 4 seconds (which is possibly not enough if no ready agent!) to route the interaction
