Title: IVR Server High Availability
Post by: matruco03 on April 14, 2009, 03:31:28 PM
Hi

I'm new with Genesys and need help with an issue.
Is it posible to have redundancy or high availability with IVR Server 7.2?
I know that for t-servers you can have HA, or warm/hot standby. Is that possible for IVR Server? And if so, how can I configure it...

thanks...

Check the TServer IVR guide. That is documented and described how to configure it.

You can only have Warm Standby and Load Balancing with the IVR Server not HA, the guide will tell you how to configure either of those.

HA divides in Warm and Hot Standby.

Ok to make it a little clearer what I meant was you can't have Hot Standby for I-Servers

Cav is right, I am running several very large deployments of 7.2 in HA mode split across four data centres.

I'm going thru 7.6 Reference Guide and it indicates
Load balancing between IVR server is NOT available in Behind-the-Switch configuration.

Is this right?

Hi CTIGem.

In which guide, did you find that load-balancing was not available in behind mode?
I checked IVR Server system Administrative guide and did not find any mention of it.
