Hi,
can someone please tell me why would ODS suddenly start subtracting 7 hours from the timestamps? It sounds ilke timezone issue; however, client does not recall changing the timezone anywhere. They screwed up with adding a new filter to DMA layout and they had to recover from database backup file of ODS and Datamart that was taken before the work has started.
Why would this cause suddenly all the new values to be added with timestamp seven hour before the real time? (in other words, at 10:30 AM chunk's timestamp is 3:30AM!
Any ideas?

ODS is using GMT for all time stamps. Have you checked server clock on DataSourcer server?
It is when you transfer datat to Datamart you tell DM in which time zone ODS is, and DM sets new time stamps. Check ETL Assistant confiuration for the source.

Double check their timezone location. Did they suddenly go ONTO DST or something? I remember that once upon a time genesys used hardcoded DST stamps in their DB... they are not still using those and ran out of values? (we had that happen to us last DST LOL!)
