Hi,
I need some help on Supervisor Desktop. I have installed GAD and it is working fine for an agent. However the supervisor I have configured is unable to view any agent whether logged-in or logged-out. The Annex tab entries of the supervisor are as follows:
Supervisor=1
SupervisorAdhoc-2
SupervisorExtended=10
SupervisorMonitoring=2
I have tried giving super-administrator rights to the supervisor person, however, I am still unable to view agents in supervisor desktop.
Also I am unable to create View/ Action Templates, as it gives me the following error : "Unable to store objects in configuration. Please check read-only option in Configuration Manager."
I have verified that the configuration server is not running in read-only mode and the conf db server is up an running.
Thanks in advance.
Siddharth.

I think that the agent login you are using to login to Supervisor Desktop does not have enough access rights in CME.
What if you do a test? Place the agent into the Administrator access group, and login to SVD again. (You might have to restart SVD server first)

tried it already.... ???
i have added my supervisor person to super-administrators...
Regards.

GAD must be configured to start as a super user, not System account, have you done that in CME?
-
GAD is starting as the System account..double checked that in CME..
also just came to my mind, how to assign a team to a supervisor..
I have specified the supervisor in the agent group supervisor section. Any thing else left to configure?

GAD must not start as System account, you have to configure it to start as the account you gave full permissions.

Hello guys, have the same problem with SVD. Agent Desktop is starting as default account. Not as a System account. Should I change it to any person in SuperAdministrators group ?
-
create it as its own super admin
