Title: Identify DN from various Switch
Post by: Ramkumar_TPS on May 15, 2009, 09:54:29 AM
Hi,

I've a doubt in identify Dn from various switch.

I've switch ( for ex: abc,def ).

Both switch contain a DN named "3103".  Now i've registered both the Dn's with T-Server, to listen all the events of the DN's.

I received the events from T-Server.  Now my doubt is how to identify the event comes from T-Server is belongs to which DN.  i.e.,) "3103-abc" or "3103-def".

Please give me solution to resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,
S. Ramkumar

do they have different aliases ? if so, run the query against that DN name and get the switch name.

Does TServer support multiple switches? If so, how to identify the DN with respect to Switch?

No. One TServer can be connected to only one switch at a time. There are exceptions like Cisco clusters but this is not your case I guess as you cannot have the same extension configured on each switch.
