Title: Message Server Connections

Do I need a connection to the message_server_backup on the message_server? We are HA and have message_server_backup listed on the Server Info Tab/Backup Server: Does this cover me or do I need to define the backup on the Connections Tab? >:(

No, you don't need the Secondary Message Server on the Connections of the Primary Message Server - as long as your Primary Application has a [i]Warmy Standby [/i] defined in the Server Info Tab and both Applications are installed and running...

Thank you for your response. The reason I ask is that when you run the configuration checker shows, In an HA invironment, an Error
SCI-CCE-006 "No alarms can abe received from the application message_server because it has no connection to MessageServer (Error). Suggested Action: Add Message Server to the Connections tab of the application "message_server" and make sure the log output type of "network" is added to the appliction's log options.  ??? Apperantly this is a bogus error or BUG in SCI. Thanks again for you help.
