Title: Access control for genesys reports
Post by: gokulkumar.nair on June 17, 2009, 09:23:21 AM
Hello Everyone,
This is really urgent...can we control the access to reports generated in CC pulse+ according to the log in credentials of the users? Currently, we are creating workspaces for different agent groups and the views are controlled based on this.
I would like to know whether we can control the access, view, edit rights to a reports in CC pulse+ according to individual access rights rather than group access rights without having to create different workspaces for every individual ??

Thanks!!!

Perhaps you want to consider creating an instance of CCP+ which uses a local (C: Drive) path to the storage files (.STG's).  In this way, each User could have their own set of Views and Templates saved on their C: Drive, for when they log in...

....in addition;

You could have a process to write/overwrite the Storage Files with new/updated Views and Template, using this method, too...

HTH?
