Title: Dialogic parameter for num of ring before answer?

Just rebuilt GVP 6.5.
But it is answering after 4 rings instead of 1.
Anyone knows how to control that?

hi , i had  same problem while deploying gvp.
ths issue was generated cause gvp wass using DEFAULT DNIS to answer teh call...Look at CFA logs.
if u provide more info, maybe i can point sth else...


But the way, if found a way to reduce the ringing cuold u point it please?(i heard a complete ringing before gvp answers)

The issue was fixed by using loop start protocol file.

Hi CTIGEM,

i am using teh correct protocol but i still hearing 2 rings before gvp answers.


Any other recommendation?

Create very simple app and look at the log to see how long it takes to answer in dialogic and your app.
This will tell you where it takes two ring.
