I am getting the below error when initiating a chat from the web api server

Failed in request to Interaction Server

Can any one tell me wht cud be the reason?

Framewrok : 7.6

Do you have a connection to interaction server in the connections tab of chat server? Chat server has a mandatory connection to interaction server.

Yes i have it but still it is not working....

Check logs, what do they tell you?

Are your environment multi-host??
If yes, webapi host/port can access interactionserver host/port?
telnet it :D

logs would help us...

Could you post here logs of WebAPI and Chat servers?
