Hi, there. Anybody has ideas about how to integrate Genesys with a NTased IVR application. Note that the IVR application is custommade and therefore there is no IVR driver or IVR Interface Server. Hence, the question is whether can we use Genesys Active X controls? And what would be the problems we might face in doing this?
Thanks

So, in other words your IVR will look like an Agent to Genesys, right?
I do not see any reasons why you would not be able to do it. One thing that makes me wonder is the fact that you are not using a driver but instead trying to develop your own. Do you require something that an IVR driver cannot perform? Or are you using some kind of IVR that does not have a Genesys driver???
One thing that you should check is the licensing cost. Usually IVR port licenses and fulllown DN licenses have different prices assigned to them; however, it might depend on your vendor, so I would suggest that you look into that.

Custom applications can be built using activex to interface directly with TServer or be a client of the configuration layer/CME.
CME has options to define an application object for custom applications as either Custom Server, ThirdParty Application or ThirdParty Server.
I sugest that you research and inquire about licensing for a Custom Server object, these are applications designed to interface with legasy databases, and proprietary applications.
