Question for the group -
We're in the process of moving to a NCS 2000 in an HA configuration. We have LinkPlexer installed, and know we need to use HA Proxy to achieve HA.
My question is: Are there any recommendations for or against installing an HA proxy instance on each server that a TServer will be installed on? For example,

Server 1: Server 2:

HA Proxy 1HA Proxy 2

TServer 1TServer 2

Instead of:

Server1: Server 2: Server 3: Server 4:

HA Proxy 1HA Proxy 2TServer 1TServer 2

I realize that we would have more HA and redundancy if the Proxies were on servers separate from the TServers, but trying to limit the number of "special" or "dedicated" purpose servers in the environment
