Title: Autoanswer in Nortel CS1000....?
Post by: cavagnaro on July 26, 2009, 03:54:54 PM
Hi guys,
I'm doing a Genesys migration, agents lost the auto answer functionality, any idea on what to move on TServer or Nortel? Thanks!

Well it seems that the issue comes from the Symposium link, but they have checked everything and no matter what we can't make a TAnswer from any CTI software...any ideas?

I have this autoanswer functionality implemented by hand (code) in my enviroment.
In the strategy we set auto_answer key to True or False and our custom made softphone answers the call immediately (if set to true).
Our PBX is v5.5 and TServers are 7.6 and we do not have any problems in this configuration.

You can work also with the wrap-up key (Tserver configuration) to put the agent in after call work for a few seconds.

And as far as I rememeber we've implemented this way the auto-answer , almost 3 years ago, becauce CS1000 doesn't have auto answer feature - so I remember - I'm not really sure.

Regards.
