Title: Capacity rule on voice media
Post by: sitto on August 06, 2009, 11:17:57 AM
Hi,

Can capacity rule support for voice media? I mean if my SIP endpoint can support multi line and I want URS can route inbound call to agent more than one call. Is it possible?

Cheers,
Sitto

Yes, that should be possible. Just make sure that the agent place contains 2 DNs, and that the agent can manage talking to two different customers at the same time...

Thanks for all.
I can tell you why customer has this requirment because the company is securities business that a customer doesn't want to hang up from a broker while stock market opens but broker still want to receive a new line and put mute line on the first call then they can talk to another customer.  ???

For this configuration,
- Can I have only one SIP endpoint and just have multi line feature?
- How can SIP Server monitor multi line instead of one physical extension?
- I just configure capacity rule and put all line on one place, right?

Sorry to have  many questions because I still confuse how it works.

Many thanks,
Sitto
