Title: Sometimes I have Problems to login on genensys Applications.
Post by: Genesys Rookie on September 23, 2009, 05:30:40 PM
Hi everybody
???
My question is that my client sometimes has problems to login on Genesys applications and I get this message in the log:
(example)
"11:19:47.532 Trc 04542 Message MSGCFG_OBJECTCHANGED2 sent to 24280 (SCE 'default')conn_create: too many connections (>4096)"

Can give me any comments about this issue?

It happens when config server reaches maximum number of allowed connections. setup keep-alive protocol between ConfigServer and every application in CME to fix this issue.

Also, ensure agent desktop application closes the session with config server when they logout.

Cheers,
Lucky

* In CME, double click on the application to bring up it's properties.

* In the properties window, go the Connections Tab.

* Create a connection to the application and fill in the following fields:

Server = Select config server

Connection Protocol = addp

Local Timeout = x seconds

Remote Timeout = 2x  seconds(recommended to set twice the amount of local timeout)

Trace Mode = Trace Turned off
