Interesting - what s so special about this one? Sounds rather like something we would expect any internet company to offer in 1999. Why care? I really think Genesys can do much more than just provide the functionality of what was offered 10 years ago without paying thousands per seat.

I know, but the problem is that is it nothing new or revolutionary. I am not really too excited about it. What am I missing?

Putting things up on YouTube is a bit like shooting a scatter gun into space... I always find it curious that the services offered by Genesys are not necessarily used by Genesys... :) Take the current "advert" on the site...
Woman sees dress, likes it and uses the services available on her Google Phone to do all sorts of wonderful stuff. Somewhere in the background (literally) is a souped up GAD (probably v8.x...) The point being made is that you can connect on so many different levels with your customer base, using a gadget. I get all of that - but...
Why don't Genesys do this? Touching the customer base and providing new applications on these levels is new, exciting and hip and trendy. We get an Account Manager, Server Apps, GUI's, Web Apps and PowerPoint presentations... ??? Yep - I know 8.x is on the way and it's based on web-based thin clients, but...
What about CCPulse+ on the iPhone/G1? (Sorry - I meant Informiam...)
What about a G1 App for new Genesys products/showcases?
How about a CIM cut-down App, to make changes on the fly?
An App emulating SCI, showing system status for Admin?
Apps for Hints and Tips and FAQ's for current product line up?
Product Update Notifications via multimedia channels?
...
- I'll get my coat... lol

Hi All,
Tony - you reply is a really brilliant comment. But can i ask you - did you send this as form an feedback to Genesys for last customer survey? I know what is started for large customer at this year and think that T-Mobile is a focus client for this.
Well, what you think about give the Genesys the chance to know about real life requirements?
